STEM Curriculum is on the rise and Dr. Avelina Espinosa tells us WHY

BRISTOL_R.I. Dr. Avelina Espinosa is firm to voice her faith in the importance of STEM curriculum being implemented in Rhode Island. As the Associate Professor of Biology at Roger Williams University and Co-Director for the New England Center for the Public Understanding of Science, Espinosa emphasized the importance to create a workforce that is better prepared and educated in STEM fields.  STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
